Perhaps now,
more than ever,
we spend our days,
immersed in letters.

They shape real life,
the options that exists,
the reasons for things,
the facts and their causes.

We think of language,
as the ultimate tool,
to solve our lives,
to reach the truth.

Most of the moments we live,
we are listening to someone speak,
we listen to electronic devices,
we listen to our inner voice think.

Syntactical nature of reality,
the real secret of magic,
is that the world,
is made of words,
and if you know the words,
that the world is made of,
you can make of,
whatever you wish.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I do not think it is the ultimate tool, though it is an important one. We need other qualities like patience, compassion, sympathy, acceptance, respect. The list could go on and on. We still have a very long way to go.

Awesome reflection!

A very insightful piece of writing, Mariana.

There is only one language more powerful than words, generally unspoken and yet universally understood; love. said...

I love this, Mariana! Your words
ring true, and your English has improved. Good to see you back at it here.

Peace, luvz, and hugz to my sweet niece in a faraway land! Uncle Keith

perhaps it is that line of thought alone that we owe the greatest debt of gratitude to our predecessors for throwing us.
